There are other ways to spend 30k...

... and it ain't on having a young girl telling you about teen pregnancy. Someone please explain and help me comprehend how 15-30k speeches are going to contribute to teen abstinence? Honestly. This money could go towards so much more. Nothing she can say will contribute to society in anyway possible. Especially to the teens. Nothing. Donate the money to charities. To your church if you want. An orphanage. Cancer research. Animal cruelty associations and shelters. A trust fund. To your kids' college fund. Pay off debt. Care packages for troops. Battered family shelters. Plant a garden. Donate it to a local school library for computers. Habitat for Humanity. Anything...really. Stina

I so appreciate your humanitarian thoughts. Couldn't agree more with you on this post. Giving back is a one way we generate hope for others and show ourselves a light that we may have never seen before. Your posts on Haiti and book donation are equally wonderful.
Thanks for your encouragement!

I couldn't agree more. Ironic, isn't it? How fewer and fewer adults are willing to have children, but in the single, teenage realm, it's become a "fad" almost?
