Equality for all Americans, right? Wrong. Repeal Prop 8.

So. Will it be equality for all Americans? Is that not what the Constitution of the United States of America deems for all? All just as equal as the other? Think again. No one should ever be considered the latter of another just because their sexual preferences are not like YOURS. Not like THEIRS. Not like that OTHER RANDOM PERSON. Not like your NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR. It doesn't matter that it isn't like those of the said others. What matters is that is it their own, it is their own proposed right as US citizens to love whomever they want to love. All people should be free to love, and to love equally. Why deny that to anyone? Since when is it acceptable to tell someone that they cannot marry the person they want to spend the rest of their life with? To tell someone they cannot start a family together, only because they are the same sex? Give me a break. There are millions of straight couples (married and non-married) out there that do not need to be within walking distance of children. There are plenty of heterosexual couples that treat their OWN children like animals; more so less than animals. However; no one is denying them their basic rights as citizens, are they? No, they aren't. Why? Because. You remember that is the NORMAL THING TO DO. The ACCEPTABLE thing to do. Sign the pledge; Courage Campaign, to repeal Proposition 8 in California and restore marriage equality! Sign the pledge to build the Marriage Equality Movement!
